Who we are
Paul Wicks, PhD
Founder
Paul Wicks, PhD, is the Founder and Chief Evidence Officer of ProofStack Health, a boutique evidence agency for digital health companies. As an independent consultant Paul has supported over 50 organizations including Ada Health, Click Therapeutics, Cognito, and Woebot.
Previously, Paul spent 13 years as VP of R&D at PatientsLikeMe, building one of the world’s largest patient communities and pioneering decentralized trials, digital biomarkers, and real-world evidence. He has authored over 210 peer-reviewed papers, served on editorial boards of journals including the BMJ, Digital Biomarkers, and BMC Medicine, and is an honorary professor at the University of Birmingham.
A neuropsychologist by training, Paul completed his PhD at King’s College London and a postdoc on the psychology of Parkinson’s disease. His work has been featured by BBC, CNN, and The New York Times. He was named MIT Technology Review’s “Humanitarian of the Year” in 2011 and is a TED Fellow and FLIER alumnus of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
Eliane Boucher, PhD
Behavioural Health Lead
Eliane Boucher, PhD, is a digital health research and evidence strategist with a focus on behavioral health. After spending the first part of her career in academia, she has spent the last 7+ years in the digital health industry, where she has led research, outcomes, and evidence-generation strategy at Twill (formerly Happify), Dario Health, and Equip.
Eliane is known for connecting rigorous science with business strategy and helping organizations build evidence programs that are practical, scalable, and positioned for impact.
Jane Ready-Webster
Product Operations Lead
Jane Ready-Webster is ProofStack Health’s Product Operations Lead, running the day-to-day operations that keep the team moving as it grows.
She began her career in digital health at Vira Health, supporting senior leadership through a period of rapid growth, before moving to Sano Genetics, a genetics and personalised medicine company, where she supported the CEO and leadership team through fundraising and scaling.
At ProofStack, Jane runs company operations and helps keep the business organised as it grows.
